The Girls Leadership Institute summer program is a residential camp for middle and high school girls held at Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Unlike traditional girls’ leadership programs, which teach girls “external” skills like public speaking or interviewing, GLI specializes in building the internal skills necessary for leadership. GLI teaches the practices of emotional intelligence, assertive self-expression, and healthy relationships to give girls the skills and confidence to live as leaders.

Girls Leadership Institute Celebrating Two Years in Colorado

Plans to Double Offerings in 2012-2013 Academic Year

GLI is seeking experienced teachers dedicated to girls’ social and emotional development to teach year-round workshops in Boulder and Denver, CO and surrounding areas; and, if possible, at the GLI summer camp at Bryn Mawr College.

GLI Educators join a team of outstanding professionals at a nationally recognized nonprofit. Educators will work at the cutting edge of thinking and practice for girls’ social and emotional development; learn and practice the techniques of educational theater; and become certified GLI freelance teachers.

GLI seeks experienced educators dedicated to girls’ social and emotional development to work at its residential summer camp at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia, PA, from June 17 – August 7, 2012.

Do you have strong opinions, like to write, and want your voice to be heard by many people? Consider becoming the GLI Girl Blogger! You will submit weekly posts of 500-700 words on a topic of your choosing (social issues, politics, movies, pop culture, fashion, family, etc.). In return, you will have a platform for your work and a great credit for your college resume. If you're interested, please submit two sample blog posts.

Real Parents, Real Daughters is a unique opportunity for a weekend workshop on girls’ relationships and the best practices in communication, emotional intelligence and healthy conflict. This is not a three-day lecture! We blend our trademark sense of humor with games and activities that keep participants laughing as they learn about themselves and practice new approaches to old habits. You will not get lost in the crowd; with only 30 participants, every participant is guaranteed attention to his or her individual goals.

Real Parents, Real Daughters Workshops

These workshops help girls and parents have fun together while learning about friendship, feelings, apologies and healthy conflict. Each workshop is 90 minutes long, once a week, for four consecutive weeks.
