Funds donated to GLI go directly towards GLI financial aid and scholarships, curriculum development and support for the early education program for girls in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. About 30% of qualified GLI applicants can't afford to pay full tuition. Every summer, we commit to raising funds for 14 full GLI scholarships for outstanding students from the Young Women's Leadership Schools (TYWLS) in Harlem, Queens and Brooklyn. You can be the person that gives a motivated, college-bound girl the opportunity of a lifetime.
- $10,000 -- Send eight TYWLS students to camp with the help of matching donations
- $5000 -- Send four TYWLS students to camp with the help of matching donations
- $3640 -- Provide a scholarship for a third year camper to mentor Navajo girls
- $2640 -- Send a girl to camp for the entire two weeks
- $1320 -- Send a girl to camp for one week
- $900 -- Support a Counselor-In-Training for two weeks
- $550 -- Give a girl two weeks of Girls Make Movies programming
- $250 -- Donate an airline flight for a third year camper to go west
- $125 -- Provide a day of white water rafting for two scholarship recipients
- $75 -- Give a weekend of adventure, from the lakeside to the theatre
- $40 -- Provide a day facing down fears at the high ropes course
