Talk about the stuff that really matters? ?
Then join us!

Club Real Girl is the celebrated Girls Leadership Institute’s after-school program for girls in grades five and six. At Club Real Girl girls come together to create a socially safe community where they can play internationally recognized theatre games (Bop anyone?), practice emotional intelligence, learn concrete relationship skills, express themselves and have fun!

Taught by professional educators Simone Marean and Julia Loonin, Club Real Girl is a unique resource to guide girls through school with grace, courage and authenticity.  Sessions typically include community building, skill acquisition, practice or role-play, and the occasional craftiness. We always practice letting go of judgment of ourselves and others and have a blast.

Topics may include:

  • Pressure to be Perfect
  • Real Friends
  • Sharing Difficult Emotions
  • What To Do When Jokes Aren’t Funny
  • Communicating On-Line
  • Speaking with Confidence
  • Moving with Confidence
  • Part-Time Friends

  • And more!
