Application Process
An application is required to attend the GLI summer camps. The application takes about 20 minutes to complete and requires the participation of both the parent/guardian and the camper. We ask that parents refrain from filling out portions of the application where camper input is specifically requested. To ensure that your application does not time out, please complete it within 20 minutes. You can't save your application during the process, but once it is completed you can log back in to edit your information.

New Campers ONLY
Once you’ve applied you will be emailed a letter of recommendation to be filled out by a teacher, guidance counselor, or family friend of your daughter. Applications are not complete until we receive a letter of recommendation for your camper. Please send all letters to:

Accepted Campers

If your camper is accepted, you will receive an Acceptance Email to Summer Camp 2012! Please look out for the attachments to the email, which will include a packing list, general information, camp medication form, health forms and transportation form. Please make sure all forms are completed and returned to us by May 15, 2012. Your camper will not be able to attend camp without these forms.

Payment and Fees
Entering Grade 6: Tuition is $2060 per camper
Entering Grade 7 – 12 Grade: Tuition is $4120 per camper

This includes housing, meals, activities and materials. Tuition does not include the cost of travel to and from campus or spending money. An additional Application Processing fee of $50 is non-refundable.

Payment Timeline: Once your daughter is accepted, a $1120 deposit will be required to secure your registration. You may choose to pay in full upon acceptance. Otherwise, $1120 will be charged upon acceptance, $1000 on April 15, $1000 on May 15 and $1000 on June 15. All payments will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. You can always update billing information by logging into your account. You may also choose to pay by e-check online.
 

Financial Aid & Scholarships:
GLI is committed to supporting every girl in her effort to live authentically and confidently. Through the generous support of our donors and sponsors, GLI is able to offer limited financial aid to families who are unable to pay in full. The amount of aid awarded is based on financial need, irrespective of their ethnicity, religion or socioeconomic background.

How to Apply:If you would like to apply for financial aid or a payment plan, please select the financial aid application when you apply online. Our application will ask you questions about your current financial status. We ask you to follow-up on this application by sending us your 2010 W-2 form.

How it is Determined & Forms: No Financial Aid application will be complete without your W-2 form. Your daughter’s acceptance to camp with not is contingent on your financial aid request. Many families will start a payment plan while waiting to hear about aid. We encourage everyone to apply and then if we cannot match your needs for aid, you will be offered a full refund including the application fee.

Financial Aid Decisions:We have two Financial Aid notification dates. March 15th and April 15th. All financial aid applications completed prior to March 1st will be notified March 15th. If we receive your application after March 1st, you will be notified by April 15th.

Transportation
We provide transportation shuttles to and from Bradley International Airport (Hartford, CT) on arrival and departure days. The one-way transportation fee is $60 per girl. We encourage you to arrive at Bradley between or closest to 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm. We also ask that your book your camper’s departures between 8 am and 11 am.

Cancellation Policy:
Full tuition refunds are available up to 60 days prior to the start of the program. If you cancel more than 30 days, but less than 60 days prior to the program, we can offer you a 50% tuition refund. No refunds are available within 30 days from the start of a program.
