Bio

Bella Herold is a senior in high school in Washington, DC.  She learned all about the four steps, whoosh, and how to best express her silliness and confidence at the GLI Core summer program this past summer. Bella became interested in environmental studies, sustainable agriculture, and the humane treatment of farm animals after attending the Chewonki Semester School in Maine this past spring.  She loves being outside in the grass and by the water, playing with farm animals, and getting up early in the spring to be a coxswain for her school’s varsity crew team. Bella’s favorite singers are Jack Johnson and MIKA, and she loves watching Gossip Girl, Glee, and Degrassi: The Next Generation with her older sisters, her mom, and her insane beagle mix Noah.
